"Cincom Sailorship" Scholarships now available for Kids’ Sailing Camps

Tom Nies, CEO, and Cincom Systems (www.cincom.com) have again provided funding for up to five disadvantaged children to participate in the 2004 Lake Thunderbird BoatHouse Kids Sailing Day Camps. Known as the "Cincom Sailorships," Nies reports that he and Cincom "are privileged to fund five sailing camp scholarships for 2007."

This is the fourth year that Tom and Cincom (Cincinnati, Ohio) have provided scholarships for the Kids Sailing Day Camps, according to Les Cummings, board member of the Lake Thunderbird Educational Foundation and the primary sailing instructor for the June 18-23 sailing camp.

Les reports that Cincom has also provided a book entitled, "First You Have to Row a Little Boat: Reflections on Life and Living" by Richard Bode, a copy of which is given to each child upon completion of the week-long sailing program.

The programs are for boys and girls from 9-13 years old.  The second camp will be July 10-15. More information may be obtained at www.lakethunderbirdboathouse.org or by calling 447-4974. The June and July camps fill quickly.
