BoatHouse Sailing Demonstration at Santa Fe South High School
The demonstration of sailboats and some related physical principles for the freshmen and sophomores of Santa Fe South Highschool is now complete and the BoatHouse equipment returned. Mike Klatt, Dave Craigie and lead by Howard Haines held forth to six groups of ~10-30 students with roughly 30-minute programs.  A couple of hours in the morning and a couple more in the afternoon. The students were as pleased as young teenagers can be to learn something of sailing and, by all comments,  the faculty were appreciative and satisfied with our effort.  Kerry's sailing dolly (or skate board) worked exceedingly well and has substantial promise as a teaching aid in camps and classes.

Kerry transported a large floor fan to and from the school so that wind was never more than a switch away. Phil Moershel transported the Pram hull on his way to and from work on Friday.  Brian Crittenden loaned & rigged his Hunter 14 and helped extensively with other needs.   The little Powerpoint
presentation that Howard created had slow spots at first but, voila!, Mike and Howard edited it in seconds to bring it up to speed.
